How to Be Healed

I. Know Where Disease Comes From:
A. Satan:
1. "So went satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with
sore boil from the sole of his foot unto his crown." (Job 2:7). Job
needed to learn how to depend on God (Job 3:25-26). God healed
Job.
(Job 42:10) God turned the captivity of Job around.
2. (Luke 13:16) Satan bound a daughter Abraham (Jewish) 18 years.
Jesus healed her on the Sabbath (Luke 13:16).
3. Healing is associated with satan's oppression: (Acts 10:38) How God
anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who
went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil;
for was with him.
4. Spirits associated with sickness:
deaf spirits, dumb spirits, insane spirits, infirms, deceiving spirits,
seducing spirits, lying spirits, familair spirits, spirit of devination,
preverse spirits. (Mark 7:32, 9:25; Matthew 12:22; Mark 5:1-19;
1 Timothy 4:1-2)
Different kinds of spirits afflict people different ways. Demons oppress
man. (Mark 5: 1-14).
Jesus healed our infirmities (Matthew 8:17) and bare our sicknesses.
5. Woman's daughter sick, vexed with a demon (Mattew 15:66) was
healed through the "word" of Jesus.
6. Sickness caused by sin, helpless condition man at the pool of
Bethesda. (Luke 11:24-26).
7. Sickness - weakness and deaf - recaiving Holy Communion unworthily.
(1 Corinthian 11: 29-30).
II. Know That It Is God's Will To Heal You:
1. He Healed the Multitudes (Matthew 14:14) Moved with
Compassion. (Matthew 20:34).
a). Two blind men healed as he was moved with compassion.
b). Healing is the children's bread. (Mark 7:27)
c). Healing included in the covenant with Israel. (Exodus 15:26) his
covenant name.
1). Healed those bitten by fiery serpents (Numbers 21: 7-9) Type
of Christ. (John 3:14-16); (II Corinthians 5:21)
2). Satan afflicted Job. (Job 2:17) God healed him (Job 42:10).
Jesus the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8).
2. God Promised Health In the Old Testament if They Obeyed Him:
(Exodus 23:25) And I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
(Deuteronomy 7:15) And the Lord will take away from thee All Sickness,
and will put none of these evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest,
upon thee ....
(Psalms 105:37) And there was not one feeble person among their
tribes. Moses a good example of perfect health
(Deuteronomy 34:7) or (Proverbs 15:30).
(Deuteronomy 28:60-61) Chapter of blessings and curses.
The cures of the law is sickness.
(Galations 3:18) Christ hath redeemed us from the curses of the law,
being made a curse for us ....
3. Healing Is Provided For You On The Cross: (Isaiah 53:45; Matthew
8:17)
(a) (1 Peter 2:24) who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the
tree, that we, being dead to sins should live unto righteousness: by
whose strips ye were healed.
- Physical healing is part of God's redemptive plan or work.
(Isaiah 53:4 & 5; 1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17).
(b) Healing is Yours For Believing.... It is God's Will.
1.) The word "testament" means one last will.
The Bible is God's last will and testament. He had bequeathed
all his
blessings and redemption to you.
- Jesus came doing the will of the Father. (John 6:38)
- (Hebrew 10:7) "Lo, I come, to do thy will O God."
